Deputy Head of Boutique

About the role

Chanel is looking for a Deputy Head of Boutique in Macao to act as a bridge between the Head of Boutique and the boutique team. The role leads the team in delivering the brand's mission, executing "The Chanel Difference" on the boutique floor and engaging today's consumers with unsurpassed service and high image standards, while supporting employee development.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and inspire the boutique team and uphold the brand image through visual merchandising, boutique maintenance and grooming standards.
• Build a client-centric environment, manage merchandise and inventory effectively and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Partner closely with divisions such as Fashion, Watches & Fine Jewellery, IT, Finance, HR and Fashion to drive business objectives.

Required profile

• At least 10 years of experience, including 2 years in management of at least 5 people.
• Fluent English and the local language; Mandarin is a plus.
• A background in fashion, retail or luxury is advantageous.
• Secondary school certificate; a university degree is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in shop operations, including stock organization and cash/credit handling.
• Visual merchandising and inventory management.
