Boutique Operation Manager

About the role

Chanel is looking for a Boutique Operation Manager in Macao to lead the boutique's operations and processes so they remain compliant and effective. The role ensures that staff deliver an industry-leading client and employee experience, supporting the brand's vision of luxury and its mission to turn consumers into brand advocates.

Key responsibilities

• Uphold the brand image by enforcing boutique SOPs such as general and VM housekeeping, maintenance, staff grooming, asset protection and occupational health and safety, and work with stakeholders to update them regularly.
• Lead the stock team, CASS, boutique assistants, alterations (where applicable) and cashiers, ensuring sales, discounts, transfers, stock adjustments and after-sales service policies are followed, and manage rosters, vendor relationships and procurement.
• Ensure accurate daily sales reporting and paperwork, resolve day-to-day operational issues quickly, and help the team make decisions when SOPs are unclear.
• Build a culture of operations excellence, improve efficiency in product flow and inventory management, and share best practices from outside the boutique.
• Lead boutique-level projects and work with the Office Retail Operations Team to implement new tools and processes, including omnichannel, risk management and sustainability topics.
• Motivate the team, hold regular development and performance conversations, and work with learning and development stakeholders on individual plans.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of retail operation experience.
• 3 years in team management.
• Previous experience in fashion or luxury is a plus.
