Retail Learning and Development Partner, Watches & Fine Jewelry

About the role

As a Retail Learning and Development Partner at Chanel in Macau, you will empower Watches & Fine Jewelry Advisors (JAs) to become the front face of the brand. You will customize and deliver training, provide on-the-floor coaching and support people development so that JAs can create emotional connections with clients and embody the brand's values.

Key responsibilities

• Engage and develop retail employees to transmit brand values and inspire emotional connections with clients.
• Shift learning and development from mass training to customized learning solutions and individualized coaching.
• Observe client-staff interactions to identify learning gaps and give near-real-time feedback.
• Collaborate with the Retail Learning & Development Team and other stakeholders to plan comprehensive people learning and development programs.
• Create and maintain learning and coaching plans, delivering in-boutique sessions using blended learning approaches.
• Partner with specialists to develop and run client action plans based on each JA's profile.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or tertiary diploma.
• At least 6-8 years of experience in people interaction, coaching and training, preferably in a managerial role.
• Minimum 3 years in selling, retail and/or client service; experience in luxury goods, watches and fine jewelry is a plus.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, be assertive when needed and work retail hours including at the point of sale.
