Senior Quantity Surveyor – Cost Management

About the role

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead cost management services for construction projects in Macau. You will be responsible for cost control, financial accuracy and ensuring project compliance while fostering a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary project teams, including clients, consultants, contractors and suppliers.
• Manage end‑to‑end commission services, overseeing estimating, cost planning and monthly post‑contract cost reporting.
• Drive value engineering, life‑cycle costing and implement cost control mechanisms across schedule, risk and change management.
• Coordinate invoicing processes using D‑365, validate data, resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance with client billing requirements.
• Mentor and onboard new team members, support recruitment interviews and promote a positive team culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, Construction, Engineering or related field (Master’s a plus).
• Minimum 7 years of experience in cost management or construction projects.
• Strong communication, leadership and business acumen with client‑facing experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Cost‑X or equivalent cost estimation software.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D‑365) for invoicing and financial reporting.
